About Me:

Hi, my name is Patrick O’Brien. I am a 24-year-old college student from Toledo, Ohio. My major is Music Business Technology at Owens Community College. I am looking forward to the future of the music and entertainment industry in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. I see so much potential. My goal is to own and operate a live music venue in the Toledo area. I’m also very interested in the art of recording. I usually record my own music, but I’m working on improving my work and my equipment, so someday I can get paid to record someone else’s music.

With this blog, I am setting out to have a section regarding live music in the Toledo area, as well as the state of live music, in general. I also would like to talk to independent and local artists as well as local bar and club owners. Eventually, I will want to put my own music and recordings up here, when I’m ready.
